Ahead of the market opening, The PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. (NYSE: PNC) unveiled its financial results for the first quarter.
The company reported $5.45 billion in revenue for the quarter, with a net income of $3.51 per share.
Financial analysts had predicted quarterly revenue of $5.49 billion and earnings of $3.38 per share.
Revenue for the quarter was 5.9 percent higher compared to the same period last year, with earnings up by 4.5 percent.
For the second quarter of 2025, the company has set a revenue target ranging from $5.51 to $5.62 billion. Wall Street analysts, however, anticipate revenue of $5.64 billion for the same period.
The company’s projected revenue goal for fiscal year 2025 stands at approximately $22.85 billion, whereas financial experts on Wall Street expect revenues to reach $22.85 billion.
